Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
