Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
