Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
