ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
