T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 When he came near the fire he was called, "Moses, 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen you; therefore, give ear to what is revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 'Why, it is my staff,' said Moses. 'I lean upon it, and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep; other uses also I find in it. 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
