T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
