In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 Recall what time he saw a fire and said to his household, bide ye! verily I have perceived a fire! haply I may bring you from it a brand or may find at the fire a guidance. 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
