T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 What is that, Moses, thou hast in thy right hand?' 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
