T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the All Merciful settled on the throne. 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 "Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,- 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
