T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. 7 God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 When he came near the fire he was called, "Moses, 11 I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 "In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs. 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
