[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 You are Well Aware of our situation." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
