Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and ease my task for me. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Harun, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 and remember You much: 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
