(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 And make my mission easy. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 And remember You much. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 to lace her child in a chest and throw it into the sea which would hurl it towards the shore. Then an enemy of Mine who was also the enemy of the child would pick it up from there. I made you attractive and loveable so that you would be reared before My own eyes. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who hath appointed for you the earth as a bed, and hath opened for you therein pathways, and hath sent down from the heaven water, and thereby We have brought forth kinds of plants, various. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
