Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And much remember Thee. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 I have chosen you for Me. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
