(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 By him confirm my strength 31 "And make him share my task: 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 to lace her child in a chest and throw it into the sea which would hurl it towards the shore. Then an enemy of Mine who was also the enemy of the child would pick it up from there. I made you attractive and loveable so that you would be reared before My own eyes. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
