He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 and ease my task for me, 26 and my tongue fluent 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Increase through him my strength 31 And share my task, 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 "And remember You much, 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
