(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 And ease for me my task 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
