'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 and ease my task for me. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 And let him share my task 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
