Aaron had indeed told them earlier: "O my people, you are being only misled with this. Surely your Lord is Ar-Rahman. So follow me and obey my command." 90 But they answered: "By no means shall we cease to worship it until Moses returns to us." 91 (Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong, 92 from following me? Why did you disobey my command?" 93 'Son of my mother' he replied, 'Do not seize my beard nor my head. I was afraid that you might say: "You have divided the Children of Israel and did not uphold my word." 94 Said Moosa, “And what is your explanation, O Samri?” 95 He replied, "I had the skill (of carving) which they did not have. I followed some of the Messengers's (Moses) tradition, but I then ignored it. Thus, my soul prompted me (to carve a golden calf with an artificial hollow sound). 96 [Moses] said, "Then go. And indeed, it is [decreed] for you in [this] life to say, 'No contact.' And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your 'god' to which you remained devoted. We will surely burn it and blow it into the sea with a blast. 97 Your Ilah (God) is only Allah, the One (La ilaha illa Huwa) (none has the right to be worshipped but He). He has full knowledge of all things. 98 Thus We tell you, (Muhammad), the stories of the past and We have given you the Quran. 99 Whoever turns away from it, will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection. 100 They will remain in it forever what an evil burden it will be for them on the Day of Resurrection! 101 The day the trumpet blast is sounded We shall raise the sinners blind, 102 and they shall murmur among themselves: 'You have stayed away but ten (days and nights)' 103 We know best what they say, when the fairest of them in course would say: You tarried but a day. 104

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
