They will question thee concerning the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes; 105 "He will leave them as plains smooth and level; 106 with neither crookedness nor any curving to be seen therein' 107 On that Day all will follow the summoning voice from which there is no escape; and all voices will be hushed before the Lord of Mercy, and nothing will be heard except a subdued murmur. 108 On that Day intercession will not benefit them except him that has received the permission of the Merciful and whose words are pleased by Him. 109 He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them, whereas their knowledge cannot encompass it. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 but he who does good works, being a believer, shall fear no harm nor any injustice." 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth!
