They ask you regarding the mountains; proclaim, “My Lord will blow them into bits and scatter them.” 105 and leave the earth a levelled plain 106 [so that] thou wilt see no curve thereon, and no ruggedness. 107 On that day they will follow the Summoner in whom is no crookedness; voices will be hushed to the All-merciful, so that thou hearest naught but a murmuring. 108 On that Day intercession will not benefit them except him that has received the permission of the Merciful and whose words are pleased by Him. 109 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them, while the others do not know. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 As such We sent it down, an Arabic Koran, and explained in it threats in order that they be cautious, or, that it prompts the Remembrance in them. 113 Exalted is Allah, the True King! Hasten not with reciting the Qur'an before its revelation to you is finished, and pray: "Lord! Increase me in knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
