Have not the unbelievers then beheld that the heavens and the earth were a mass all sewn up, and then We unstitched them and of water fashioned every living thing? Will they not believe? 30 And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided. 31 We made the sky above them as a well-guarded ceiling, but they have neglected the evidence (of Our existence) therein. 32 It is He who created night and day, the sun and the moon, revolving on its orbit. 33 AND [remind those who deny thee, O Prophet, that] never have We granted life everlasting to any mortal before thee: but do they, perchance, hope that although thou must die, they will live forever?" 34 Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good, and to Us you will be returned. 35 And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers. 36 Man has been created hasty; very soon I shall show you My signs, do not be impatient. 37 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 38 If only the disbelievers realised the time when they will not be able to stop the fire from their faces and from their backs – and nor are they to be helped. 39 It will come upon them unawares confounding them, and they will not be able to keep it back, nor will they be given respite. 40 And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed. 41
