Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Then whoso doeth some good works and is a believer, there will be no rejection of his effort. Lo! We record (it) for him. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 but when Gog and Magog are let loose and swarm down from every hillside and they spread out, [leaping across every barrier of land and sea], 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 You and all those who you were worshipping, other than Allah, shall be the fuel of Gehenna; there you shall all go down to it. 98 Had these indeed been gods they would not have gone there. But (as it is), all of you shall ever abide in it." 99 There they shall groan with anguish and the din and noise in Hell will not let them hear anything. 100 But those whom We have surpassed with the finest (rank) from Us shall be far removed from it, 101 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for. 102 The great Horror [of the Day of Judgement] shall not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, saying, "This is your Day which you have been promised." 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people. 106 And We have not sent thee except as a mercy unto the Worlds. 107 Say: "It is revealed to me that your God is only One God. Will you, then, submit to Him?" 108 If they turn away, say to them: "I have warned you all alike; and I cannot say whether what you have been promised is near or distant. 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 I know not; haply it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time. 111 The Messenger said: "My Lord! Judge with truth. Our Compassionate Lord alone is our support against your (blasphemous) utterances." 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
