The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 till, when Gog and Magog are unloosed, and they slide down out of every slope, 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein. 99 They will bray in it and not be able to hear anything in it. 100 Lo! those unto whom kindness hath gone forth before from Us, they will be far removed from thence. 101 They shall not hear the least sound thereof, and in that felicity which their souls desire they shall be abiders. 102 The great Horror [of the Day of Judgement] shall not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, saying, "This is your Day which you have been promised." 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 And assuredly We have prescribed in the Scripture after the admonition, that: the land! there shall inherit it My bondmen righteous. 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say: It is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit? 108 If they turn away, say, "I have warned you all alike, though I do not know whether [the scourge] which you are promised is near at hand or far off. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time." 111 He saith: my Lord! judge Thou with truth. And our Lord is the Compassionate Whose help is to be sought against that which ye utter. 112
