The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 who guard their privates, 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 to their promise, 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 We created man of an extraction of clay, 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 The tree that grows on Mount Sinai yields oil and seasoning for those who eat. 20 And indeed in the cattle is a lesson for you; We give you to drink what is in their bellies, and there are many benefits for you in them, and in them is your food. 21 and you ride on them as you do in ships. 22
