The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 Who are active in deeds of charity; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants; 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 After that you shall surely die, 15 Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). 16 We made several highways one over the other above you. We are not neglectful of creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 And verily in the cattle for you is a lesson. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are advantages many, and of them ye eat. 21 And on them, and on ships you are carried. 22
