1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink. 33 If ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves, then, lo! ye surely would be losers. 34 What, does he promise you that when you are dead, and become dust and bones, you shall be brought forth? 35 ۞ Far, far is that which you are threatened with. 36 There is naught but our life in this world; we die and we live and we shall not be raised again. 37 "He is only a man who has invented a lie against Allah, but we are not going to believe in him." 38 The messenger said, "My Lord, help me, for they have rejected me." 39 He replied: 'Before long, by the morning, they shall be remorseful' 40 Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! 41 Then after them, We created other generations. 42 Every nation has an appointed life span. 43 Thereafter We sent Our apostles, successively. So oft as there came unto a community their apostle, they belied him, so We made them follow one another, and We made them bywords; so away with a people who believe not! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority 45 To Pharaoh and his nobles who behaved with arrogance, for they were a conceited lot, 46 So they said: shall we believe in two human beings like unto us, while their nation are to us slaves? 47 So they denied them therefore became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave the Book to Moses so that they may be guided. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings. 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
