A group of his people who disbelieved him and had called the Day of Judgment a lie and whom We had made prosperous in this life, said, "He is a mere mortal like you. He eats and drinks as you do. 33 And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers. 34 Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]? 35 ۞ Away! away with that wherewith ye are promised; 36 There is only the life of this world: We die and we live: there is no rising from the dead for us. 37 He is but a man who hath fabricated against God a lie, and in him we are not going to be believers. 38 He said, 'O my Lord, help me, for that they cry me lies.' 39 Said Allah, “They will soon wake up at morn, regretting.” 40 So As-Saihah (torment - awful cry, etc.) overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So away with the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, disobedient to His Messengers, etc.). 41 Then We produced after them other generations. 42 No community can anticipate their term, nor can they lay behind. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not. 44 Then We sent Musa and his brother Haroun, with Our communications and a clear authority, 45 unto Pharaoh and his great ones; but these behaved with arrogance, for they were people wont to glorify [only] themselves. 46 They therefore said, “Shall we believe in two humans like ourselves, whereas their nation is servile to us?” 47 So they rejected them and became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, that haply they would be guided; 49 And We made Mary's son, and his mother, a Sign, and We gave them refuge on a lofty ground, a peaceful site with springs flowing in it. 50
