1/2 Hizb 35

Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 But they (who claim to follow you) have torn their unity wide asunder, piece by piece, each group delighting in [but] what they themselves possess [by way of tenets]. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 These are hastening on to good, and they are therein foremost. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
