O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord; 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 and arrogantly mocked and reviled them. 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 Indeed you are calling them to a Straight Path, 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 And indeed We grasped them with punishment, so neither did they submit themselves to their Lord, nor do they cry humbly. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
