It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
