It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
