It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
