It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
