It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
