Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
