SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
