Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
