Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
