Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
