Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah knows well all that they do. 41 To God belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Him is the homecoming. 42 Do you not see how God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into layers and then you see the rain pour from their midst? He sends down from the skies mountainous masses [of clouds] charged with hail, and He makes it fall on whom He will, and turns it away from whom He pleases. The flash of His lightning may well-nigh take away the sight. 43 God alternates the night and the day. In this there is a lesson for the people of understanding. 44 And Allah has created from water every living creature: so of them is that which walks upon its belly, and of them is that which walks upon two feet, and of them is that which walks upon four; Allah creates what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things. 45 We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and in the apostle and we obey; then a party of them turn back after this, and these are not believers. 47 and when they are called to God and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, some of them turn away. 48 but if they are in the right, they will come to him submissively. 49 Are their hearts sick? Do they have doubts or are they afraid that God and His Messenger may do injustice to them? In fact, they, themselves, are unjust. 50
