Al-Furqaan 3 of 6
۞ Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say, "Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion. 21 The day when they will see the angels – that day will not be of any happiness for the guilty – and they will cry, “O God, erect a barrier between us and them!” 22 We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. 23 The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. 24 On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be senthi down rank after rank. 25 and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! 28 Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man. 29 And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." 30 Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). 32 Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. 33 Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray. 34

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
