۞ Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful. 21 On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." 22 And We turned all the deeds they had performed into scattered floating specks of dust. 23 The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. 24 On a Day when the sky will split open with its clouds and the angels are sent down rank upon rank, 25 and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! 28 He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." 29 The prophet will say: "O my Lord, my people had fettered the Qur'an." 30 Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: wherefore is the Qur'an not revealed unto him entire at once! Thus - We reveal - that We may establish thy heart therewith; and We have repeated it with a repetition. 32 We will support you with the Truth and the best interpretation whenever the infidels argue against you. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
