Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication. 45 Then We draw it back to Us, withdrawing it little by little. 46 It is He who appointed the night for you to be a garment and sleep for a rest, and day He appointed for a rising. 47 And it is He who sendeth forth the winds as a herald before His mercy and We send down from the heaven water pure. 48 so that He may revive the dead land, and quench the thirst of many of His creatures from among beasts and men. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner. 51 So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the Quran). 52 ۞ And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them. 53 And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever Powerful. 54 And they worship such, other than Allah, which neither benefit nor hurt them; and the disbeliever helps the devil instead of his Lord. 55 And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner. 56 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (that which I have brought from my Lord and its preaching, etc.), save that whosoever wills, may take a Path to his Lord. 57 And put your trust (O Muhammad SAW) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves; 58 He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). 59 Yet when they [who are bent on denying the truth are told, "Prostrate yourselves before the Most Gracious" they are wont to ask, "And [who and] what is the Most Gracious? Are we to prostrate ourselves before whatever thou biddest us [to worship]?" - and so [thy call] but increases their aversion, ۩ 60
