Most Auspicious is He Who created lofty towers in the sky and placed a lamp in it, and the luminous moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who witness not falsehood, and when they pass by some vanity pass by with dignity. 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
