Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth who, when the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, say, "Peace to you" 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
