Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
