Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp" and a shining moon. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
