The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
