The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
